Integrated Development Programme (IDP) is implemented under the aegis of Manos Unidas in twenty villages of Jaffarganj, district Ambedkar Nagar Uttar Pradesh for the rural development.

It was apprehend that a sustainable strategy of poverty alleviation has to be based on increasing the productive employment opportunities in the process of growth itself so that they can attain a better livelihood options.

Through IDP project elimination of poverty, ignorance, diseases and inequality of opportunities, gender discrimination and providing better livelihood opportunities were the basic premises. Majority of the people are living under precarious situation. Thus through various activities and program are been conducted for the community such as Health awareness program, information on MNREGA , Women Rights, Panchyati Raj, celebration of importance days, training on Reproductive child health , income generation programs , formation of Self Help Groups , Sensitization meetings on various issues and through developed linkages with NGO’s have put great impetus in sensitizing the community. NFE centre for school going children so that child may enhance quality education.

The aim of the project is to provide the rural people with better prospects for economic development , increased participation of people in the rural development programmes , decentralization of planning and greater access to credited and envisaged.

Major Achievement of the Year :

80 families living below poverty line has been provided Rs. 120000/- under housing scheme through government Plan.
50 families got Rs. 12000/- for toilet construction under ODF scheme.
126 House hold provided electricity .
36 families received LPG connection.
8 families started Petty shop from SHG’s
20 families started dairy by SHG’s
7 families are doing goatry through SHG’s
1 family interested to do piggery
Electricity supplied in 3 villages
7 children from the community doing BTC (Basic Teachers Training Course )
1 family started piggery through SHG’s
16 Community families benefited with Solar light
10 Community families benefited with Electric supply
15 villages are connected to main highway road through Pradhan Mantri Sadak Nirman Yojana .
4 villages brick road was constructed by panchayat level
4 Talabs (ponds ) dugged in village .
Mud road constructed in 6 villages .
