Description: DDWS conducted the “Graduation Ceremony” on 30th November 2019 at Snehalaya, Jefferganj. All the 60 trainees along with their parents were called for the ceremony. On this occasion various theme based dance items were presented by the participants. Chief Guest of the programme Mr. Ajay Kumar Gautam, Member, Distrcit Panchayat, Ambedkar Nagar. Gram Pradhans of three panchayats were also invited for the programme. Special Guest of the programme was Rev. Fr. Babu Francis, Director, DDWS. The programme started with lighting the lamp followed by prayer dance by the participants. Welcome of the all the dignitaries, invitees, parents, trainer, parents and pparticipants was done by Miss. Antoshi, A girl from the trainees. Chief Guest, Special Guest of the programme were felicitated with bouquet, garland and memento and were introduced to the gathering. On this occasion certificates were distributed to all the 60 participants. Few participants were also called upon stage to share their thoughts and experience of four months of their vocational skill training. They expressed their deep sense of gratitude towards DDWS and Manos Unidas for capacitating and raising their self confidence. It was a moment that really added charm to the atmosphere with a sense of achievement. Rev. Fr. Babu Francis, Director, DDWS congratulated all the participants on their successful completion of their training and parents for their support. He also said that Learning is a Continuous Process by the hard work and Dedication and one should always try to maintain that spirit of learning. He emphasized on the importance of schooling and the values to carry forward in their life. He also stressed girls to equip themselves with adequate skills and knowledge to face the challenges and to excel in their career. Parents expressed joyful gratitude to the organization and the supporting agency in moulding their wards as skilled in various courses. The participants’ views of the skill training programme were found to be satisfactory and contented. They indicated that the vocational training met their expectations and fulfilled its objectives. They also expressed their satisfaction with the facilitator and the participative methods used during the training programme. The program came to an end with vote of thanks given by Sr. Shikha.
